This February 14th, there is no better gift than heart-shaped cookies glazed with decorated sugar frosting.

To prepare the colored frosting: mix the milk with the powdered sugar. Divide the frosting to color it in different shades. Add a couple of drops of your preferred food coloring and stir. Cover the frostings with plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out. To make the thicker decorating frosting (for the edges): take 1 cup of the frosting and mix it with 4-6 tablespoons of powdered sugar. It should be stiff. Place it in a piping bag and set aside.
