Grilled Pineapple with Ginger Cream

The grilled pineapple with ginger cream is a dessert or snack, healthy and delicious.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, fat-free
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger, chopped
  • 1 pineapple, median
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, or melted butter
  • 6 cherries in syrup

Preparation

Turn on the grill (gas or charcoal) and let it heat while you prepare the cream.
In a bowl mix the sour cream, sugar and ginger to make a homogeneous mixture. Cover it with aluminum foil and let it cool in the refrigerator so you prepare the rest.
To cut the pineapple, cut the plume from it as the first step. Cut the pineapple into 6 slices and cut the rind of each slice.
Remove the center of each slice. Spread margarine or melted butter over slices
Place the slices on the grill and heat until they catch a light brown color.
Serve the slices with the sauce.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with cherries.
