In Mexico we love guava, in this season we like to eat this delicious fruit as much as we can and prepares this delightful dessert with light syrup based on a concentrated sugar with water, spiced with cinnamon and star anise. You only need 6 ingredients to have a delicious dessert full of vitamin C.

Preparation
In a small bowl place the guavas with water, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and star anise, when it is boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for about 1 hour, taking care to fill with water if necessary.
Remove from heat and cool, serve in glass cups with a little syrup. Decorate with a slice of cinnamon and a leaf of mint. Enjoy
