Delicious mixture of dried fruits with wine for Pessaj party. It has a sweet flavor that is accompanied with Matza cookies. These are elements of the Passover celebrated by the Jewish religion.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 100 grams date
  • 50 grams dried apricot
  • 2 apples
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon kosher wine
  • 2 tablespoons walnut

Preparation

Soak the dried fruit in water for about 2 hours.
In a pot boil 1 cup of water over low heat with peeled and chopped apples with orange and lemon juice.
Add the dates and the apricots also minced and move everything little by little while boiling until all the fruit is destroyed.
When everything is done with the consistency of puree, let it cool and mix with the wine.
Refrigerate

PRESENTATION

It is served in a deep dish and decorated with the chopped nut on top. It is eaten with Matza cookies.

TIPS

If the fruit does not want to disrupt well, it can be liquefied so that it has the right consistency. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
