There are many recipes for Day of the Dead bread, but none like this one! This traditional sweet bread is prepared to celebrate Día de Muertos in Mexico; however, it has its origins in ancient ceremonies and offerings from the pre-Hispanic era.

Nowadays, Day of the Dead bread is sold for months, as it is one of the favorites among Mexicans and is characterized by its orange and orange blossom flavor. There are versions filled with chocolate, cheese, jam, and more. Ice creams, cookies, and other desserts flavored like Day of the Dead bread also exist.

We love this tradition so much that we decided to prepare a very fun version and transformed it into a gelatin; it’s very easy to prepare thanks to D’Gari®!

In a bowl, mix the D’Gari® condensed milk flavored gelatin and the hot milk until dissolved. Once well dissolved, pour in the orange blossom essence and stir. Refrigerate the gelatin in the same bowl until set. In a bowl, add the D’Gari® rompope flavored gelatin and the hot milk and mix until dissolved. Once dissolved, mix until integrated. Pour the gelatin into a baking dish and a hemisphere mold and refrigerate for 2 hours. Unmold the D’Gari® condensed milk gelatin.
