Tamales are a common dish in Mexican cuisine and of course, their base is corn. In this version, we add gelatin, without losing the typical flavor or leaving out the corn. These gelatamales are easy to make, can be enjoyed with family, and will give a different touch to February 2nd.
When letting the gelatin cool to form the tamales, do not refrigerate; cool at room temperature so it does not harden and maintains the ideal consistency for shaping the tamales.
