Ingredients

20 portions
  • 20 cupcake baking cups, (like the ones in the photo)
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cups lemon zest
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cups lemon juice
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare 2 rectangular or square molds of the same size engraving them with vegetable spray.
In an electric mixer beat butter with sugar until fluffy.
Add the lemon zest and eggs and continue whisking.
In a deep bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In another deep bowl, mix lemon juice, milk and vanilla.
Add the liquid mixture and the flour mixture little by little to the manetquilla mixture and continue to beat for 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the refractories and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While the cake is baked, make the bitumen by beating the icing sugar with the lemon juice and the cream.
Remove the cakes from the oven, unmold and allow them to cool.
Put on one of them a layer of bitumen and put on the bitumen the other cake (in the form of a sandwich). Then with the remaining bitumen cover the upper cake.
Cut the square cake and place each square on a piece of dessert paper.

PRESENTATION

You can decorate the squares with cream with a pastry bag or with lemon zest.

DEMASIADO LIMON HICE LA RECETA AL PIE DE LA LETRA, PUES SE ME ANTOJO DESDE QUE VI LA FOTO, PERO EN LO ABSOLUTO ME SALIO COMO DICE, EL PASTEL NO SE ESPONJO, Y SE ME HACE DEMASIADO LIMON QUE SE AGREGA A LA MEZCLA , ASI QUE CUANDO PROBE EL PAN AUNQUE ESTABA APLASTADO SABIA MAS BIEN A FILETE EMPANIZADO CON LIMON, NO LO RECOMIENDO.
