Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 cups grated sweet coconut
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
In a pot over low heat add the coconut, milk, vanilla essence, sugar and yolks, cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until the liquid has been consumed and the bottom of the pot is visible. Do this while continuing to move.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish or mold and spread it out. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cocada is golden.
Remove and let cool. Wrap your cocadas in china paper.
