Prepare these fun mini donut popsicles and learn how to make the donut dough from scratch and without the need for an oven. These mini donuts are fun and colorful; they have different flavors and can be dusted with sugar, chocolate or glazed. Ingredients

20 portions
  • 4 cups wheat flour
  • 10 grams yeast powder, 1 envelope
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cups refined sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cups butter
  • enough wheat flour, to extend
  • enough vegetal oil, to fry the donuts
  • 1/2 cups sugar, with cinnamon, to cover the donuts
  • 1 cup chocolate, semisweet, melted, spread out to cover donuts
  • 1 cup icing, on an extended plate to cover the donuts
  • 1/2 cups sparks of colors, on an extended plate to cover the donuts

Preparation

On an extended surface, mix the flour, yeast, milk, sugar, salt and eggs and knead until having a uniform consistency; add the butter and knead again for 15 more minutes or until the mixture is smooth.
Place the dough in a previously greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let stand for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough with a 1 cm wide rolling pin and once spread, let it rest on the table for 10 minutes before cutting. Cut with the help of lids or pastry rings, one smaller than the other, to shape them into donuts.
In a pot over low heat, heat the oil and fry the donuts for about 5 minutes, remembering to turn it over to cook both sides. When they are golden brown, remove some donuts from the oil and drain them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Instead of draining the other donuts, place them directly on a plate with sugar and cinnamon, and cover them completely with the mixture. on both sides.
Cover the donuts that you did drain on absorbent paper with melted chocolate and others with frosting and colored sprinkles. Let it dry.
Insert a stick into each donita so that they are shaped like popsicles.
Place them on a base and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Insert the mini donuts in a base and accompany with a glass of milk.

TIPS

The ideal oil temperature for frying is 180 ° C.
