Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 packages cream cheese
  • 1 drizzle vanilla extract
  • 7 tablespoons sugar, for the candy

Preparation

Put in a saucepan or in the same container where the sugar will be made, and bring to the fire, until it is melted with a dark brown color (this is the caramel for the base of the custard). (They can use cajeta instead of sugar this is optional)
Put all the other ingredients in the blender until they are completely mixed.
Empty the mixture from the blender in the bowl or caramel with the caramel. Cover and cook at Bain Marie for 50-60 min approx.
To know if you are ready to insert a toothpick or covered and if it comes out clean, you are ready.
Allow to cool and unmold and put in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours so that it has a firm consistency and is completely cold. Bon Appetite!

TIPS

Important: it must be cold before unmolding to prevent it from falling apart.
