Ingredients

24 portions
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 lemon, juice and peel
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 kilo puff pastry
  • 300 grams butter
  • 500 grams walnut, chopped

Preparation

Mix sugar and water.
Add the juice and the lemon peel.
Add the honey and dissolve it.
Boil until it thickens, reserve.
Spread the dough and varnish it with the melted butter, sprinkle the chopped nut.
Roll and cut the rolls, place them in a tray and bathe them with the remaining butter.
Bake at 160 ° C for 30 or 40 min. until they are golden brown
Let them cool a little and bathe them with the syrup, squeezing the excess.

PRESENTATION

You can sprinkle with sugar glass, or decorate with some fruit of your choice.
