This traditional cheese dessert will become your favorite because you can prepare it in the oven and it has a deliciously crust. You should let it cool completely so that when serving, it doesn't fall apart. For this Baked Ricotta Cheesecake recipe you can use cottage cheese, which is a soft cheese that is also known as ricotta cheese. Decorate this delicious dessert with whipped cream and strawberries, which will be the perfect touch to give it more flavor.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 3/4 cups of flour for the crust, (220g)
  • 1/2 Cup of powder sugar for the crust
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Salt for the crust
  • 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder for the crust
  • 1 piece of egg for the crust
  • 2 spoonfuls of vanilla essence for the crust
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter cold and cut into cubes, for the crust (100g)
  • 3 cups of curd for the filling
  • 1 1/2 cups of Greek yoghurt for the filling
  • 1 Cup of condensed milk for the filling
  • 3 pieces of egg for the filling
  • 1}/2 of Cup of flour for the filling
  • 3 spoonfuls of vanilla essence for the filling
  • 1 Cup of whipped cream to decorate
  • 1 Cup of Strawberry to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C (176°F)
    In a bowl, mix the flour with the powdered sugar, the salt, the baking powder, the egg, the vanilla essence and the butter until you have a pastry dough (Pâte brisée). Place in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
    For the filling, beat the cottage cheese with yogurt, condensed milk, egg, flour and vanilla extract.
    On a floured surface extend the pastry dough to the size of the oven proof mold. Roll over the roller and cover the oven proof dish, cut the excess dough. Freeze for 15 minutes.
    Pour the filling and bake for 45 minutes or until cooked.
    Let cool and decorate with cream and strawberries.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish with whipped cream and strawberries.

    TIPS

    So that the surface of your cheesecake doesn't break once it is cooked, let it cool inside the oven.
