It's the classic American pumpkin pie, often made on Thanksgiving Day.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground clove
  • 2 eggs, big
  • 425 grams pumpkin puree, pure
  • 1 can evaporated milk

Preparation

Mix the sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a small bowl.
Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
Add the pumpkin puree mixture and sugar. Gradually add the evaporated milk. Pour into a 9-inch tart pan.
Bake. The oven should be preheated to 218 ° C for 15 minutes.
Reduce the temperature to 176 ° C, bake 40-50 minutes until the insert knife in the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.

TIPS

Do not freeze the cake as this will cause the crust to separate from the filling.
