  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cups vegetable margarine
  • 1/4 cups Water, cold (as needed)
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 peaches, (large, peeled and seeded) cut into slices
  • syrup, of maple (to varnish)
  • powdered sugar, to sprinkle


For the crust: In a food processor, add the flour, sugar and salt.
When the ingredients have been combined, add the butter and combine until the dough has a lumpy consistency.
Add cold water little by little until the paste is linked.
To the dough, give it a round shape and wrap in foil. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and spread the dough on a tray with waxed paper and refrigerate for another 10 minutes.
To make the filling: In a bowl mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add the vanilla and peaches and stir until the fruit is well impregnated with the mixture.
Preheat the oven to 176 ° C (350 ° F). Remove the dough from the refrigerator and start placing the peaches in the center in the way you prefer. You must be careful to leave a dough edge so you can wrap the peaches.
Once you have placed all the peaches and you have finished folding the edge of the dough, refrigerate for 15 minutes.
After this time, varnish the galette with the maple syrup and sprinkle the icing sugar. Bake for 30 minutes until the peach skin is a little wrinkled and the crust is lightly browned.
To serve, let cool 5 to 10 minutes.
