Enjoy these delicious pecan tamales ideal to serve them with a coffee. They have a fluffy and smooth texture. With its delicious flavor, these tamales will be the best option for you!

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces of corn leaf
  • 4 cups of Water hot
  • 1 1/2 cups of Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 2 cups of cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups of rice flours
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of walnut essence
  • 1 1/2 cups of nut finely chopped
  • to taste of nut chopped to decorate
  • to taste of chocolate melted, to decorate

    Preparation

    Soak the corn husks for 15 minutes in hot water.
    Beat the butter with the sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
    Add the corn flour, rice flour, baking powder, pecan extract and the milk. Add the chopped pecans.
    Fill the husks with the previous mixture and fold them.
    Add hot water to a large pot with a steamer basket, place the tamales on top and cook for 1 hour. Serve warm and garnish with chopped pecans and chocolate.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with a pot coffee.

    TIPS

    The rice flour gives it a very soft consistency.
