Tips

Phyllo dough must be handled quickly and kept covered with a damp cloth. Since it is a very thin dough, it dries and hardens when exposed to the environment. If you want a slightly more caramelized flavor, I recommend adding some sultana or muscat raisins to the apple pieces.
