The punch is a hot drink, typical of these times, turn it into jelly, and enjoy it in its cold and different version of this wonderful drink. Accompany it with seasonal fruit.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 liters water
  • 3 canes, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 2 apples, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 pear, cut into small cubes
  • 5 guavas, cut in quarters
  • 5 tejocotes
  • 1/4 cups tamarind
  • 3/4 cups prune
  • 1/3 cups hibiscus flower
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1/2 piloncillo
  • 1/2 rajas cinnamon
  • 1 on D’Gari® crystal gelatin dessert
  • 1 cup fruit, of season to decorate
  • 2 tablespoons apricot jam, to varnish
  • 1 peppermint, to decorate

Preparation

Heat the water over medium heat and add the fruit, boil for 20 minutes.
Add tamarind and prune, Jamaica flower, cloves, piloncillo and cinnamon, cook for 15 minutes more. Let cool a little.
Strain the punch and mix with hydrated and melted D'Gari ® Crystalline Gelatin. Pour over a jelly mold and let set for 2 hours.
Decorate with seasonal fruit cut, varnish with jam and finish with mint leaves.

PRESENTATION

In an extended dish with seasonal fruit.

TIPS

You can add sweetener instead of piloncillo.
