Ingredients

4 portions
  • 12 figs, big
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups Red wine
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • vanilla ice cream

Preparation

In a pot, put the sugar, red wine and butter.
Cut the figs. Remove the tip and cut them in four.
Put the figs with the wine and sugar in the pot for 8 minutes over medium heat.
Remove the figs and put them in the oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes until they are cooked a little and the wine is made like honey.
Serve them warm in a dish a little deep with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
