Ingredients

12 portions
  • 3 cups Great Value® Wheat Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/2 teaspoons Extra Special® organic sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons Great Value® Refined Sugar
  • 8 tablespoons Water, tibia
  • 1 3/4 cups almond, milled
  • 1 3/4 cups Great Value® Refined Sugar
  • 1/2 yellow lemons, just zest
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup Great Value® Powder Sugar, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a bowl mix wheat flour with butter, salt, sugar, warm water. With the help of your hands knead until you get a soft and firm dough. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
Spread the dough on a floured surface with the help of a rolling pin until it reaches a thickness of 3 mm, place it on the cake mold.
Mix the almonds with the sugar and the lemon zest. Add the eggs one by one and beat until completely integrated.
Add butter and mix until integrated. Pour over the pan and bake about 45 minutes or until cooked.
Chill and decorate with icing sugar.
