Ingredients

20 portions
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 1/2 cups refined sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 2 1/2 cups flour, (270 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups chocolate chip, nuts, dried fruits or colored sparks

Preparation

In a mixer with a shovel or by hand, beat the butter, add the muscovado sugar and the refined sugar until well integrated.
On the same mixture, add the egg one by one and allow it to integrate well; Pour in the vanilla essence, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix only until incorporated, without beating too much.
Add the complement of your choice, such as chocolate chips or nuts, and refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
Form balls, you can help yourself with an ice cream spoon, or form them with your hands.
In a tray with silicone paper, arrange the balls, leaving a minimum space of 6 cm between each one. Don't put pressure on them; These should be a serving of 1 ½ tablespoons of dough.
Bake the cookies at 180 ° C for 10 minutes, until the edge of the cookie is golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with chocolate chips, nuts or dried fruits.

TIPS

When distributing the cookies on the tray, make sure to leave space between them, as they will grow; there is no need to crush the tray as they expand on their own. Bake until the outline is golden and cool.
