Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 tablespoon butter, to spread the mold
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 3 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups raisin
  • 4 rajas cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar

Preparation

Heat the oven to 175 ° C or 350 ° F.
Butter a 2½ liter baking pan
Mix butter, cornmeal, milk, coconut milk, salt, raisins, cinnamon and sugar.
Move the flour mixture with a spatula and pour into a 3 lt [3 quart] cauldron, heat on the stove stirring constantly to avoid sticking.
When it breaks to a boil, it lowers the temperature and continues stirring until it thickens to the consistency of the yogurt. Remove the cinnamon.
Pour the mixture into the buttered mold and bake until golden brown for 50 to 60 minutes
Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature before removing from the mold.

PRESENTATION

Serve with hot chocolate or coffee.
