Preparation
Soak tamale leaves in hot water for 10 minutes, drain and reserve.
In a blender, beat the butter until it changes color, add sugar, flour, baking powder and water little by little.
Beat for 10 minutes until you get a spongy and homogeneous dough, add the coloring and whisk for 2 minutes.
On a sheet of tamale place two tablespoons of dough, add raisins and wrap.
Place the tamales in a steamer with water and cook for 1 hour over medium heat or until the dough does not stick to the leaf.
Serves warm, accompanied by cajeta, nuts and coconut.
