Halloween is celebrated on October 31st, as it is a date to dress up and go trick-or-treating with the little ones. In Mexico, this celebration is becoming increasingly popular, so this cake with marshmallow spider webs and chocolate spiders is deliciously spooky.

So now you know, there is no more fun and monstrous dessert than this gelatin cake, which is made with easy-to-find ingredients, such as D’Gari® lemon pie pudding and D’Gari black gelatin flavored with red fruits. Plus, it’s decorated with marshmallows!

For the cake base: in a bowl, mix the crushed cookies and the butter. Place in a mold with non-stick plastic. Press down very well to compact it and refrigerate for 30 minutes. In a bowl, mix the milk and the D'Gari® lemon pie pudding. Mix with a whisk for 2 minutes. When it thickens, add the D'Gari® gelatin previously hydrated with 80 ml of water and mix. Pour over the cookie pie crust. Freeze for 2 hours. In a bowl, mix the D'Gari black gelatin flavored with red fruits with the hot water. Dissolve with a whisk. Once well dissolved, pour in the cold water and add a thin layer to the mixture from the previous step. Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour. Take out of refrigeration and use the marshmallows to make the spider webs, covering the entire cake. Then decorate with a chocolate spider and keep refrigerated. Serve the Halloween cake on a large plate and enjoy.
