Ingredients

36 portions
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 90 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 500 grams powdered sugar, for the glaze
  • 2 eggs, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups Water, for the glaze
  • artificial food coloring, colors

Preparation

In a deep bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder with a balloon whisk.
In an electric mixer with the paddle (not the balloon whisk) mix the butter at room temperature with the sugar. Add the egg, the brandy and the vanilla and continue combining. Add the flour little by little and finish mixing.
Place the dough on a clean surface with flour and make two balls of dough. Cover the balls with clear paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Prepare two trays with waxed paper.
Flour a clean surface and roll a dough ball until it is 1/4 cm wide. It is important to use the roller to one side and to move the dough so that it does not stick.
With the mold in the form of a large tie cut the cookies and leave a small extra piece on top to be able to hang the cookie in the cup.
While the cookies are cooling, make the icing, beating the sugar, egg white and water with an electric mixer .
Place them on the baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
With artificial colors, paint the glaze and then decorate the cookies with the glaze.
Place the cookie in the cup so that it looks dangling.
