Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180º (350 F).
First crush the nuts to make them finer. Then in a blender, place the butter with 1/2 cup of powder sugar, and beat (medium speed) until you get a spongy mass.
Add 1 cup of flour, vanilla, and salt, beat again at low speed until everything is mixed. Add the rest of the flour and the ground nuts, and finish beating a little more.
Form a ball with the dough, put it in a plastic bag to refrigerate it for an hour or until it is firm.
Form the balls from the dough, about 2.5 cm (approxiamtely one inch), place them in an ungreased baking dish with a separation between them of 3 cm (a little over an inch). Bake for about 12 or 15 minutes until they have a light golden color.
After baking, let stand 5 minutes, sprinkle the icing sugar and wait until they are completely cooled.
