Turkish coffee is also known as Arabica coffee and it is very common to be prepared throughout the Middle East, as well as in some Arab areas of North Africa. It is usually prepared in a kind of copper or brass coffee machine and a very fine ground coffee is used. This coffee is consumed in small cups, well in the style of espresso, since it is also quite concentrated and full-bodied, the result of fine grinding of the Arabica beans.

Ingredients

  • 20 grams of coffee ground
  • 4 cups of Water
  • 4 pieces of sugar lump

    Preparation

    Add the ground coffee in the Turkish coffee maker, sugar and cold water.
    Mix all the ingredients and heat over low heat. While you are preparing the coffee, do not stop stirring it; When it begins to foam, remove it from the fire and distribute the foam between the serving cups.
    Place the coffee again in the fire, when it reaches the boiling point, remove it and serve it in the cups. You will not need to add sugar or milk.
