In a bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, oregano, enough salt, and pepper until well combined. Pour in the beer and mix with a whisk; you should obtain a semi-thick mixture. If necessary, add more flour or more beer to the preparation. Dip the onion rings in the previous mixture and immediately fry in enough hot vegetable oil over medium-low heat, making sure to stir constantly so that the onion browns evenly. Remember that the amount of oil should completely cover the rings.
