This sandwich is a derivative of a classic called croque Monsieur, a traditional preparation in France consisting of white box bread with butter, cheese and cooked ham. In our version, we use the delicious FUD® turkey breast, add a bechamel sauce and brown in the oven. It is accompanied with a fried egg to crown it and you can enjoy it at any time of the day, although it is ideal for breakfast.

Ingredients

1 portion
  • 2 slices White bread, of box
  • enough butter, melted
  • enough mustard
  • 3 slices FUD® turkey breast
  • 2 slices Manchego cheese FUD®
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 tablespoons dry thyme
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • enough oil
  • 1 egg

Preparation

For the white sauce, heat a pot to medium temperature and melt the butter, add the flour and brown for 3 minutes, then add the milk little by little without stopping to move, to avoid lumps; add the mustard, thyme, salt and pepper. Reservation.
Spread the white bread on a tray and varnish with butter, bake for 5 minutes at 180 ° C. Then spread the mustard, add the Manchego cheese, the FUD® turkey breast and cover with a slice of bread, add a tablespoon of white sauce and bake again for 5 minutes.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the egg for 3 minutes; Season with salt and pepper.
Place the fried egg on the sandwich and accompany with salad.
