Cheese Dip with Bacon and BBQ

If you love to take the snack to your celebrations, prepare this cheese dip with a crispy fried bacon cover, doradito chicken filling with yellow elotito, onion cambray onions, purple onion, the spicy touch of the marinated chipotle and the delicious flavor of the Honey Hunt's® BBQ Sauce, this dip will fascinate you.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 piece of chicken breast
  • 2 spoonfuls of Garlic finely chopped, to marinate
  • 1/4 of Cup of Hunt's ® Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 20 slices of bacon
  • 3 cups of cream cheese cut into cubes, for the dip
  • 1/4 of Cup of corn cob yellow, for the dip
  • 1/4 of Cup of onion stem chambray for the dip
  • 1/4 of Cup of purple Onion finely chopped, for the dip
  • 2 spoonfuls of garlic powder for the dip
  • 1/4 of Cup of marinated chipotle chile finely chopped
  • 4 spoonfuls of Hunt's ® Honey BBQ Sauce for the dip
  • 1/4 of Cup of onion stem chambray chopped, to bread
  • to taste of totopo To accompany

    Preparation

    In a bowl place the chicken breast, marinade with the garlic and the Hunt's® BBQ Honey Sauce for half an hour in refrigeration. Reservation.
    Heat a pan over high heat and cook the bacon until it is golden and crispy. Drain on absorbent paper and finely chop. Divide in two.
    With the same fat that the bacon released, cook the chicken until it is fully cooked, bathing with the marinade once in a while. Remove from cooking and cut into very small cubes.
    For the dip, in a bowl mix half the bacon you reserved, the chicken breast cut into cubes, the cream cheese, the yellow corn, the onion cambray, the purple onion, the garlic powder, the chipotle in marinade and the Hunt's® BBQ Honey Sauce until the ingredients are incorporated and you have a firm preparation. Reserve in refrigeration.
    Place a layer of non-stick plastic on a bowl and mix the dip with your hands, closing the dip and forming a ball.
    Mix the rest of the bacon with the onion rings and crush the ball, place your dip on a plate and serve with tortilla chips or crackers. Enjoy and share.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the ball on a plate and accompany salty crackers or chips.

    TIPS

    Remember that when mixing your dip you have to be consistent and firm so that you can form your ball.
