Traditional Peruvian ceviche has very few ingredients: fish, lemon, chili, salt, corn and sweet potato.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 800 grams fish, (sole or croaker)
  • 1 red onion, in juliana
  • 1/2 red limo chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 yellow limo chili, chopped very finely
  • 16 lemons, its juice
  • salt
  • 1 corn, cooked, cut into slices
  • 1 sweet potato, cooked

Preparation

Cut the fish into small pieces (cubes 1.5 cm) and mix with the onion in a large bowl.
Wash and drain onion and fish well. Season with salt and hot pepper. Quickly stir the mixture with the lemon juice. Wait 5 minutes and refresh by adding a couple of ice cubes. Mix well and remove them immediately, before they melt.
Serve the ceviche immediately in a bowl, accompanied by sweet potato, purple onion and corn.

TIPS

Use the freshest fish you can find since it is cooked little in the lemon.

Se vee rico tal como es el elote es el choclo .. el camote es indispensable aunque también lo acompañas con yuca Buenazo!!! Típico cebiche peruano
