Chili Peppers Stuffed with Fish

Get out of the routine and prepare these delicious güero chiles stuffed with fish. It is a recipe that is ideal for any day of the week. Accompany it with this delicious salsita, which will provide all the necessary flavor.

3 portions
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Fish fillets
  • 3 tablespoons butter, LALA®
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, without seeds and diced
  • 2 tablespoons epazote, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon achiote
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 9 güero ppeppers, 9 pieces Chile güero Roasted, sweaty, peeled and open on one side.
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 avocados, for the sauce
  • 1 sour cream, LALA® for sauce
  • 1 pinch salt, for the sauce


Boil the water in a medium pot over high heat, add the fish fillet for 1 minute and remove from the liquid. Crumble and reserve.
Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, add the onion, the tomato, the epazote, the achiote, the vinegar and cook for 10 minutes. Add the shredded fish and season.
Fill with this mixture the güeros chiles and reserve.
Grind the avocado, cream and salt in the blender.
Place on a plate spread a few spoonfuls of the avocado sauce and on this 2 or 3 filled güero peppers.


Serve in an extended dish and you can accompany it with red rice. You can roast the chiles wrapped in aluminum foil.
