The fish tacos are delicious. Prepare them almost at the moment of serving them to avoid that the tortillas are watered and the fish continues crunchy on the outside.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup dark beer
  • 1/3 cups ketchup
  • 1/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cups natural yogurt
  • 1 kilo White fish, in semi-thick cut
  • 1 jet lemon juice
  • to taste oil, to fry
  • flour tortillas
  • to taste pico de gallo, (at your service)
  • to taste lemon, in rooms (to serve)
  • to taste cabbage, in thin slices (to serve)

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the flour, 1 teaspoon of garlic salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Add the beer and with a whisk balloon whisk until it has a smooth consistency. Cover and let stand for at least 10 minutes to 1 hour.
Prepare the sauce, mix the cast, mayonnaise and yogurt. (You can add some juice of marinated chipotles)
Marinate the fish. Cut the fish into long pieces (about 10 cms) and put in a bowl with lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Stir and marinate for about 10 minutes.
Heat the oil. In a pot fill as 2.5 centimeters of oil and let it reach 190 degrees of temperature.
Meanwhile, heat the tortillas. Keep under a napkin or a warm cloth.
Put the fish into the beer mixture and fry the fish in the oil. Put each piece in the mixture first and then in the oil and let it brown, about 7 minutes. Prevent fish pieces from touching so they do not stick. Take out the oil with a spoon and put on paper towels to absorb extra fat.
Once you have fried all the fish, put the fish tacos together. Put on each tortilla a couple of pieces of fish, pico de gallo sauce, cabbage, and the prepared mayonnaise sauce.
Serve with sliced ​​lemon and avocado.
