Ingredients

6 portions
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 onion, badly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon grass
  • 2 teaspoons Chili pepper, thai
  • 100 grams mussel
  • 1/3 cups Water
  • 1/4 cups sake
  • 1/2 teaspoons Fish sauce
  • to taste basil
  • 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 yellow lemon, just the juice

Preparation

Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden brown. Reserve onions and let dry.
In the same pan, with the previous oil, add garlic, lemon grass and thai chili. Sauté until softened and add the mussels, water, rice wine and fish sauce.
Increase the temperature and mix to integrate all the ingredients. Cover with a lid and let cook for 6-8 minutes. Remove the mussels that did not open.
Reduce the temperature by half, and add basil and coconut milk and cook for another minute.
Add black pepper to taste and remove the pan from the heat. Serve with lime and toast.
