Octopus Ceviche Tostadas

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 cups octopus, parboiled
  • 1/2 cups tomtato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups orange bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cups Salsa Huichol® habanero hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 avocados, for the guacamole with mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise, for the guacamole with mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice, for the guacamole with mayonnaise
  • 1/4 onions, for the guacamole with mayonnaise
  • enough coriander, for the guacamole with mayonnaise
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • corn tostada shell, of colors
  • leaves fresh oregano, to decorate

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the octopus, tomato, onion, coriander, oregano, red pepper, yellow pepper, orange pepper, lemon juice, Huichol® Habanera Sauce, olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Let stand 1 hour in refrigeration.
For the guacamole with mayonnaise, mash the avocado in a processor, add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion, cilantro, season with salt and pepper.
On toast, spread the guacamole, add the octopus without the juice, decorate with fresh oregano and serve with Huichol® Habanera Sauce.

PRESENTATION

On colored corn tostadas, accompanied by guacamole and Huichol® Habanera Sauce.

TIPS

You can add other varieties of seafood if you want it to have more flavor and variety. If you want the guacamole to be spicier, add 1 habanero pepper.
