Did you know that to make green aguachile you only need 9 ingredients? Go ahead and make this shrimp aguachile recipe, perfect for this season of Lent or hot days. In addition to being super easy to make, this is a low-calorie and highly nutritious dish, as shrimp contain protein, vitamin B12, and potassium.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 2 cups shrimp
  • 1/2 cups coriander
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 cup cucumber, in shell, cut into half moons
  • 1/2 cups red onion, filleted
  • fried or toasted corn tortilla

Preparation

Peel, clean and cut the shrimp opening in a butterfly shape. Reservation.
Blend the coriander with the serrano pepper, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
In a bowl, marinate the shrimp with the previously liquefied mixture for 30 minutes. Refrigerate.
Add the cucumber and red onion. Serve and accompany with toast and enjoy.
