Vietnamese shrimp

A unique way to give a new twist to your preparations with shrimp. This recipe is inspired by Vietnamese cuisine, where sweet, spicy and salty flavors merge.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of lemon juice
  • 1/4 of Cup of Ground ginger
  • 1/4 of Cup of White wine
  • 2 teaspoons of Fish sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of Sesame oil
  • 1.4 kilos of shrimp peeled, deveined and without head.
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of mint chopped

    Preparation

    In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients except shrimp, coriander and mint. Stir the preparation well. Reserve the marinade for at least one hour.
    Place the shrimp in a bowl and add ½ cup of the previous mixture, marina at room temperature for one hour.
    Heat a pan.
    Grill the shrimp for 2 ½ minutes per side. Once cooked, place them in the bowl where you have the rest of the marinade, add the coriander and mint. Remove them from the marinade and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with white rice.

    TIPS

    Cook the shrimp only until they change color. The Sriracha sauce and the fish sauce can be found in the supermarket in the oriental products area.
