Spicy Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo of shrimp uncooked, peeled but with tails and deveined
  • enough of oil
  • to taste of Kosher grain salt
  • 1/2 Cup of extra virgin olive oil (marinated)
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of fennel seed (marinated)
  • 1 1/2 spoonfuls of dried chiles peperoncino
  • 1/4 of Cup of parsley chopped
  • 1 o 2 spoonfuls of dried chiles or chile piquín
  • to taste of lemon juice

    Preparation

    Prepare the marinade by mixing 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic, the fennel seeds, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of the chile flakes. Leave the shrimp marinating for at least 20 minutes.
    Heat a skillet over high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. When it is very hot, add a layer of shrimp. Sprinkle with salt. Seal on the one hand 1-2 minutes (without turning them over) until the edges are pink. Turn them over and let seal for another 2 minutes until they are cooked.
    Arrange on a platter and squeeze juice of 1 lemon on top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and additional chili powder.
