Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 jicama, peeled
  • 6 strips surimi, (crab imitation)
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seedless and julienned
  • 150 grams cream cheese, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoons sesame seed

Preparation

Take the jicama and cut it with a slicer in 2mm thin slices. If you do not have a slicer at home, ask the supermarket to make it for you.
Form each taco by taking a slice and filling it with some crab, cucumber and a strip of cream cheese. Roll the taco and cut it in half.
Prepare the sauce combining soy sauce with lemon, chopped chives and sesame seeds.

PRESENTATION

Serve the taquitos accompanied by the soy sauce prepared in a botanero dish and with chopsticks.

TIPS

If you want to make the rolls in advance just place them in a pyrex with lid in the refrigerator, this can be done up to 6 hours before serving.
