Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • 1/4 of Cup of milk
  • 4 pieces of tuna in medallions
  • 1 Cup of Bimbo® English Style bread crumbs
  • enough of cooking spray oil
  • 1 Cup of carrot for the salad
  • 1 Cup of jicama for the salad
  • 1 Cup of cucumber for the salad
  • 1/2 Cup of orange juice for the salad
  • 1/4 of Cup of lemon juice for the salad
  • 2 spoonfuls of olive oil for the salad
  • 1 pinch of Salt for the salad
  • 1 pinch of black pepper for the salad
  • 1 teaspoonful of Dried oregano for the salad
  • enough of Dried oregano to decorate

    Preparation

    In a bowl beat the egg with the milk until you get a homogeneous mixture, submerge the tuna medallions, remove from the mixture and cover with the Bimbo® English Style Breading, reserve.
    Heat a pan over medium heat with the cooking spray, cook the medallions to the desired finish.
    For the salad, in a bowl mix all the ingredients, season with orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano to your liking. Serve the medallions with the salad and fresh oregano.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the medallions with a salad based on carrots, jicama and cucumbers.

    TIPS

    The best cooking time for your tuna medallions is to leave it slightly pink inside, to avoid it being dry.
