Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 sausages
  • 8 slices box bread
  • 4 slices Ham
  • 4 slices manchego cheese, or yellow
  • 2 leaves lettuce, big
  • to taste mayonnaise
  • enough vegetal oil
  • to taste ketchup

Preparation

The sausages are fried in oil trying to be as curved as these will be the body of the snail. once fried they are cut a little in the final part so that they are thinner in that part.
The crusts should be removed from the bread and joined in a 2x4 shape by flattening the bread and sticking the edges with a little water.
Mayonnaise is added to all the bread already spread.
Then you put the lettuce, the ham that can also be fried and the cheese if you like.
Carefully roll all the bread to form a large roll.
With the help of a slightly dampened knife, that roll is cut into four sections. These will play the role of the conchita of the snails.
In a dish, place the roll of bread on the thin side of the sausages, stick with 1 or 2 sticks the thick part of the sausage to the bread, in order to form the snail, with a little ketchup the eyes are drawn and the mouth.

PRESENTATION

Put them on a bed of lettuce with a little thin slices of cucumber and tomato.
