Preparation
Boil the guavas (without the rabito) together with the cinnamon and a little sugar (1/2 cup). Cook for about 10 minutes or until the guavas are soft.
Remove the slice of cinnamon and liquefy the guavas together with a little of the water in which they were boiled.
Pass through the colander to remove the seeds and dilute with the remaining water.
Put back on fire.
In a glass of cold water, dissolve the cornstarch and add it to the guava mixture.
Add more sugar if necessary and continue moving to avoid sticking until reaching the desired consistency (about 20 min).
