Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups pumpkin, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper, milled
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons basil, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bread, ground
  • 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 2 cups mashed tomatoes, Flavored Del Fuerte®
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Sauté the garlic 1 minute, add the pumpkin and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, until all the liquid evaporates. Salt pepper. Remove from heat and drain as much liquid as possible from the pumpkins.
Mix in a bowl cooked pumpkin, egg, basil, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese. Perfectly.
Form small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet, bake at 180 ° C for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and reserve.
Grind chili peppers and Del Fuerte® Spiced Tomato Puree in a blender. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the grind and fry for 5 minutes, season and reserve.
Place the meatballs in a platter and cover with the sauce. Garnish with basil leaves.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with white rice.
