Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 sweet chili pepper
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 2 cups of whole-grain rice precooked
  • 1 1/2 cups of lentil
  • 3 cups of Water

    Preparation

    Cut into small pieces the tomato, sweet pepper and purple onion.
    Apart, wash the lentils well and place in a pot with the tomato, sweet pepper, purple onion and two cups of water.
    When the lentils begin to become soft add 2 cups of rice and one more of water. Season to taste.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with grated carrot, lettuce, panela cheese, a little cream or half cream and a touch of tree chile.

    TIPS

    Soak the lentils one night before so they do not take so long on the stove, you will save time and money.
