For the shallot, cook the shallot in a pan with hot olive oil for a few minutes on low heat, stirring constantly, until the shallot starts to darken; once this happens, add the brown sugar, cook for a few more minutes until the vegetable becomes crispy, remember to keep stirring constantly. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Prepare the dressing, mix in a bowl the mustard along with the chili flakes, paprika, and olive oil until you get a homogeneous mixture and red in color. Place in a squeeze bottle and set aside.
