Ingredients: vegetable oil; 6 morita chiles, seedless; 4 guajillo chiles, seedless; 2 cloves garlic; 4 tomatoes, in quarters; 1/2 onions; 2 cups shrimp shells and heads; 2 cups water; salt; pepper; 2 tablespoons vegetable oil; 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped; 1 cup potato, in medium cubes; 1 cup carrot, in medium cubes; 2 cups medium-sized shrimp, clean; 2 cups water; cilantro leaves, for garnish; lime, in slices, for garnish

Heat a little oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the morita chili, guajillo chili, garlic, onion, tomato, and shrimp shells. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, pour in the water and cook for 5 more minutes. Remove and set aside. Blend the ingredients for 5 minutes and strain.
