Prepare these easy Ham Tostadas with Pico de Gallo. For this easy recipe you will need ingredients that are very accessible and easy to find, such as beans, fresh cheese, tomatoes or cream. These tostadas are perfect for a children's menu, as the flavors are not as strong. For these Ham Tostadas with Pico de Gallo, you can purchase any ham of turkey breast and if you want to make them gourmet, you can add Iberian ham.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of oil
  • 6 pieces of Corn tortillas
  • 1 Cup of tomato finely chopped, for the pico de gallo
  • 1/2 Cup of onion finely chopped
  • 2 pieces of jalapeno pepper finely chopped
  • 3 spoonfuls of vinegar for the chiles
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • enough of Salt
  • enough of black pepper
  • 1 Cup of refried beans
  • 12 slices of Ham
  • cups of lettuce
  • 1 Cup of sour cream
  • 1 Cup of fresh cheese

    Preparation

    In a frying pan with oil, fry the tortillas until they are toasted. Remove excess grease with absorbent paper.
    For the pico de gallo, in a bowl mix the tomato with the onion, the jalapeño pepper, the vinegar of the chilies, the lemon juice, the salt and the pepper.
    On a table place the tostadas and spread with the beans, place the lettuce, the ham, the cream, the cheese.
    Serve and decorate with the pico de gallo.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorate with pico de gallo and enjoy. Accompany with jamaica water.

    TIPS

    If you want even more flavor in your beans, we suggest adding bacon.
