Ingredients

12 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups flour, for the mass
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt, for the mass
  • 1/4 cups butter, for the mass
  • 1 egg, for the mass
  • 1/4 cups Water, cold, for the dough
  • 1/2 packages Lala® Plenia® Turkey Sausage
  • enough vegetal oil, for the chipotle sausages
  • 1 cup onion, filleted, for chipotle sausages
  • 1/2 cups chipotle chili, for the chipotle sausages
  • to taste salt, for the chipotle sausages
  • to taste black pepper, for the chipotle sausages
  • 4 tablespoons butter, for the creamy spinach
  • 1 cup onion, filleted, for the creamy spinach
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped, for the spinach cream
  • 3 cups spinach, for the creamy spinach
  • 1 cup sour cream, for the creamy spinach
  • 1 cup virginia turkey ham Lala® Plenia®, for the creamy spinach
  • to taste salt, for the creamy spinach
  • to taste black pepper, for the creamy spinach
  • enough flour, to extend
  • 1 egg, to varnish the empanadas
  • enough sesame seed, white, to decorate
  • enough black sesame seed, to decorate

Preparation

For the dough, add all the ingredients mentioned in a processor and mix until you get a uniform dough with a smooth texture; You could also use a blender, making sure not to over-grind. Reserve until use.
Cut the Lala Plenia® turkey sausages into approximately 1.5 cm slices.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and fry the onion for 3 minutes or until transparent, then add the chipotle pepper and the Lala Plenia® turkey sausages that you sliced; Season with salt and pepper, mix and remove from heat. Let cool and reserve.
Cut the slices of Lala Plenia Virginia turkey ham, into medium squares of approximately 1 cm.
Heat a pan over medium heat, heat the butter and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes, add the spinach, Lala Plenia® Virginia Turkey Ham, season with salt and pepper and cook for 2 more minutes. Let cool and reserve.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Once the empanada dough has rested, spread to a thickness of approximately 3 mm and cut circles with a diameter of approximately 10 cm, fill some with the spinach and ham mixture and others with the sausage mixture.
Close the empanadas, folding in half and press with the help of your fingers, mark the edges with a fork; Varnish with the egg and decorate with the black and white sesame, to differentiate the fillings.
Bake at 180 ° C, for 25 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy. Accompany with salad.

TIPS

Prepare the dough in advance so that it has rested and you can work it well. Refrigerate the patties before baking so they retain their shape.
