This meatloaf recipe is extra delicious, as it is filled with cheese and covered in a sweet sauce with the flavor of French's® English Sauce. You can enjoy it any day of the week, at lunchtime, or prepare it on special occasions with family or friends.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 3 tablespoons butter, in cubes, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for the sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups meat juice, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups French's® English Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch, diluted in water, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, for the sauce
  • 3 cups ground beef, beef
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped, for meat
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for meat
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, in small cubes, for the meat
  • 3/4 cups ground bread, for the meat
  • 1 egg, for the meat
  • 2 tablespoons paprika, for the meat
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, for the meat
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped, for meat
  • 3 tablespoons French's® English Sauce
  • to taste salt, for the meat
  • to taste black pepper, for the meat
  • 2 cups manchego cheese, sliced, grated
  • enough fresh oregano, to decorate
  • enough vegetable, roasted, for garnish

Preparation

For the sauce, in a hot deep frying pan melt the butter and cook the garlic until it begins to have a bright color. Pour in the meat juice, the French's® Worcestershire Sauce, the honey, the cornstarch diluted in water and the pepper, stir with a balloon whisk until incorporated and cook over medium low heat for 8 minutes. Reserve hot.
In a bowl mix the ground beef with the onion, the garlic, the red bell pepper, the ground bread, the egg, the paprika, the oregano, the parsley, and the French's® English Sauce; Season with salt and pepper; Integrate until a manageable mix is obtained.
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Put a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet, spread the meat mixture on the sheet of paper with the help of your hands, place the slices of Manchego cheese on top and close in the shape of a roll supporting the aluminum foil. Press to compact.
Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes at 200 ° C. Remove from the oven, remove the aluminum foil, bathe it with the sauce you prepared and return to the oven for 15 more minutes.
Slice the meatloaf, serve with more sauce, garnish with fresh oregano and serve with roasted vegetables.

PRESENTATION
