This delicious and healthy dish will delight young and old, try the cauliflower in a different way, weathered with a sweet and sour sauce that balances the flavors and textures of this dish very well.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/3 of Cup of cornmeal
  • 1/2 Cup of wheat flour
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 3 spoonfuls of chili flake
  • 2 cups of cauliflower Cooked
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 2 cups of oil to fry
  • 5 spoonfuls of Maple syrup for the sauce
  • 4 spoonfuls of ketchup for the sauce
  • 5 spoonfuls of pineapple juice for the sauce
  • 3 spoonfuls of balsamic vinegar for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch for the sauce
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 cups of rice fried, oriental type, to accompany
  • to taste of black sesame seed to decorate

    Preparation

    In a bowl mix the cornmeal with the wheat flour and the water; add the chili flakes, season with salt and pepper; mix until integrate.
    Pass the cauliflower through flour and dip in the previous preparation
    Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat, fry the cauliflower and place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
    For the sweet and sour sauce, in a saucepan over medium heat, heat the maple syrup with the ketchup, the pineapple juice, the balsamic vinegar, the corn starch and cook for 5 minutes until you have a thick consistency sauce, season your taste and reserve.
    In a bowl place the preparation of the cauliflower, bathe with the sweet and sour sauce and a little sesame seeds.
    Serve the cauliflower on a bed of fried rice, accompany with the sauce and decorate with sesame.
