Creamy Pasta with BBQ Chicken

This easy recipe is ideal for a Sunday with friends, as it has everything in one dish: pasta and a rich crispy chicken.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups penne rigate pasta
  • water, to cook the pasta
  • salt
  • oil, to fry
  • 1 cup flour, to bread
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, to bread
  • 1 egg, smoothie in a bowl, to bread
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 1 cup McCormick® mayonnaise with bbq
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese
  • parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

Preparation

Heat a deep pot with the water over high heat until it reaches a boil. Add the salt and when it comes to a boil, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain, cool and reserve.
To bread, pass the chicken through the flour, then the egg and finally through the ground bread, press to compact; Place the breaded breasts on a plate and reserve.
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Fry the breaded chicken on each side for 5 minutes, remove from the oil and place on a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
On a board, cut the breaded chicken into strips. Reservation.
In a bowl mix the whipping cream with the McCormick® Mayonnaise with BBQ and add the pasta, season with salt and pepper. Reservation.
In a baking dish, place the pasta with the sauce, the chicken cut into strips, the cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 180 ° C, or until it is gratin. Take out of the oven and decorate with parsley. Enjoy accompanied by a delicious salad.

TIPS

So that your pasta is al dente we recommend you put the pasta in boiling water for 10 min and you can see that it is al dente when it is cut and has a white dot in the middle of the pasta.

Muy bien. Pero creo que deberíais poner salsas más sanas. No sé, pero el queso con algo como: cebolla y ajo puerro y pelín de pimienta blanca. Resulta más suave y no lleva tanta carga de aceite como las mahonesas. O una salsa con yogurth. Para los que no hacemos fitnest y los niños a los que ya hay " que enseñar a comer sano desde que empiezan " . Las mahonesas y otras cosas más contundentes ya aprenden ellos solitos. Y esta sugerencia la hago desde Galicia , cocina Atlántica con aceite de oliva y muy natural. Un gran saludo para todos.
